Yes you have read right we now have protective hats- the sole purpose of these is to protect your ears from any accidental damage caused by anyone (only a precautionary measure brought in by our sports leading body the British Octopush Association).

There was much fun had yesterday as the Craw had tied his on very effectively, it had crossed everyone's minds to just leave him with a funfilled week of wearing a hat in lectures and other social events. and upon inspection of said knot it was decided it was untieable.

We let him stew for a while.

Then the unknoting began on what could only be described as a granny knot tied to infinate tightness.

We were almost being chucked out when a handy key could be put into the knot just to loosen it enough to get some slack.

More fun to be had at the next session.
